Comforting, 2.9.2009

I had recently lost several pets that were like children to me. Having been told to 'get over it' as it was 'just' an animal, I found it immensely comforting to hear Abraham speak about pets in a manner that took them from being 'just' an animal and put them on the same level as ourselves. Hearing that they can and do return and that they are part of the same source as ourselves moved me from feeling devastating grief and loss to a place of acceptance, wonder, and expectation.
