I have read "The Vortex", the book, several times; some parts I have bookmarked and read over and over. I hesitated getting the CD, thinking it was redundant, and now I am ever so glad I did get the CD set. I find when reading a book or watching a DVD, I am very limited as to when and where I can enjoy receiving the information. However, with CD's, the opportunities to listen to Abraham increase tremendously. I can and do listen to CD's while driving, doing housework, walking, sitting on the deck, riding in an airplane, gardening, folding clothes, getting dressed, riding and listening with my husband. There are just so many more places and situations to listen to CDs than readinga book or watching a DVD. I also find by listening so frequently to Abraham that I am better able to "find better feeling thoughts" and "to find relief", because Abraham is present more and more in my life, by my deliberate choice, by listening almost constantly to any Abraham CD.
I listen to "The Vortex" CDs over and over, and sometimes replay a track to make sure I understand what has been said. I imagine that, even though Esther and Jerry are reading a script, the words flow so smoothly that it feels like Abraham is talking to me.
